This past labor day weekend we decided to take a quick trip to the country to see family. It was a quick 24 hour visit due to Matt's football schedule but we decided after almost three months of down time with no travels we decided we were all ready to hit the road. Little Miss has been packed up and ready for a trip for more than three weeks and I'm not even kidding with you. When I gave her the go ahead to load up she had everything in the car within minutes.



We of course went to check out the garden and chickens as soon as we arrived. There were many little apples on the tree that Pawpaw let the kids pick. I'm not sure how ready they were but he wasn't about to tell the eager grandchildren no.























It was so refreshing to get away and have such a special time with our family. I'm already looking forward to the next visit.
