Our sweet Junebug is one week old today! I feel like she has been with us forever! She fits us like a glove and has made the transition to three so easy on us. In the womb she was a very laid back baby, only slightly moving at night once I went to bed and the same has been true with life outside the womb. She has times during the day that she is awake and alert but her longest awake time is anywhere from 8-11pm. The first night home she woke up to nurse every 2-3 hours, at 5 days of life she went to bed at midnight and woke up at 3am to nurse and then again at 6:30am, I thought that was miraculous and then at day 6 and 7 she went to bed around 11-12pm and slept soundly until 7:30 am when I woke her up to nurse and then have skin on skin time with her until her Bubby and Sissy woke up. Blessed! That's all I can say. I'm fully prepared for different patterns to come and go but for right now at a time when a new Mama of three needs rest all I can do is thank the Lord for this gift. She is such a gift We couldn't be more smitten with a baby than we are with her. I wan't five more just like her!
