I heat it up every night (for about 90 seconds) before I go to bed and then I place it at the foot of the bed before I go brush my teeth and wash my face and then by the time I'm ready to get in bed it's nice and warm. It's also perfect to use for lower back aches and around the neck. It keeps the heat for up to one hour and is warm for at least two hours. I like this idea much better than an electric heating pad that I have to remember to turn off and unplug.
This is also a great homemade Christmas gift idea. When I was a kid my best friends mom made these sacks for us in the shape of a Gingerbread man and she scented the rice with cinnamon. It truly was one of my favorite things well into early high school.
I hope y'all are having a great week! I just wanted to share a simple daily pleasure of mine.
Genius!! My feet are the same way. Genius I say, genius you are.
