We had a such a great weekend getting to experience the circus for the first time and having my sweet friend in our home for a wonderful visit.


Bubby was super excited to have a friend along for our early morning adventures.

 Saturday afternoon we headed downtown for some girl time. I would say shopping but we didn't buy anything. It made me laugh to think that we could "shop" for hours and come home with nothing. Something my husband will never understand.

We saw this pillow at a shop  downtown. I like the message.


I love it when "city" friends come to stay with us for a weekend and feel refreshed by our small town life. It makes me realize that what we have is special. I don' always see it that way. Sometimes I just want to eat at chick-fil-a for lunch and walk around Target when I'm bored. Although I wouldn't mind having those available to me it's a good life that we live even without the big town luxuries.
