My sweet friend Veronica came to me a month or so ago and asked me...rather (tempted me with her fabulous fabric) if I would make the bedding for her baby Adalyn. This is the biggest project that I have taken on for someone else and the first time I made baby bedding. I was so super nervous because I wanted to do a great job, one that will stand the test of time. I was also nervous about making it because you never know how something is going to fit, even after you take precise measurements. Then I decided that I wanted to finish the bedding in time for her shower this past Saturday which meant if you didn't hear from me last week it's because I was down in the basement humming away on my serger and machine.

It turned out great,fit the crib perfectly and was there on display as she walked into the entrance at the shower....she was surprised....very surprised. To top it off all the wonderful hosts of the shower decided to give this to Veronica as a gift and I know that made it even more special to her.

I can't wait to see the nursery all put together. It's going to be fabulous!
