YAY!!! Julie is a friend I met while in college at A&M. We both majored in Special Education and we both took American Sign Language together. We had ASL every night of the week except Friday so needless to say we spent a lot of time together. It was during this time that we both were going through the healing process of bad relationships. God was working on our hearts to desire his plan for our life even when that meant dealing with the days that just felt unbearable.
We learned so much from each other. I remember one night we were driving to our ASL class and we both had an awful and emotional day....we sat in the car and listened to Ginny Owens, "If you want me to"....crying...and crying some more and praying together. I'm sure by the time we walked into class they thought we were a crazy mess!

Jesus is so good and he shows this to me in so many ways, this being one of them. He puts people in your path just when you need each other. I am so thankful for the friendships he has provided for me and how those friendships have drawn me closer to him. This song was the anthem of my life during that time. When I listen to it now it shows me that path of brokenness and unknown led me to my husband. The man that God designed for me was what the Lord was preparing my heart for. So now when I face new trials, hurts and pains I can listen to these lyrics and KNOW that God is working and moving in my life even when it doesn't make sense.

Now Julie is married to a man that Love Jesus. Dave and Julie live in California and always posts pictures on facebook that look like postcards. Maybe someday we will get to visit them :)
